Aroma

Bhimseni camphor has a sharp, cool and menthol-like smell that most families know from the aarti plate. To keep a gentle fragrance in your pooja room between prayers, you can pair camphor with a diffuser oil such as rose aroma oil or warm, woody sandalwood aroma oil. How to use

• Pooja, aarti and havan: place a small piece on a heat-proof camphor holder, aarti plate or havan kund and light it. Never leave burning camphor unattended.
• Wardrobes and cupboards: put a few crystals in a small open bowl and replace them when the aroma fades.
• Room fragrance: use in an electric kapoor diffuser made for camphor, following that diffuser's own instructions. Do not put camphor in an ultrasonic water diffuser; use a few drops of an aroma oil from our oils for aroma diffusers range instead.

This is Bhimseni camphor (kapoor) itself, used for pooja and aarti. It is not an oil. If you need a camphor-type fragrance oil for products such as room fresheners, ask us about RF Camphor Serenity.

Can I use it in candles, soaps or an ultrasonic diffuser?

This camphor is sold for pooja, aarti, havan and wardrobe use. Do not add it to an ultrasonic water diffuser. For candles and other home-fragrance making, use a fragrance oil and test your own usage rate.
